Graduation 2011

Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) will hold its 11th Graduation on Saturday 23rd July 2011 at 10.00 AM at the Main Campus, Meru. Graduands must be seated at the graduation square by 9.00 AM.

Prospective graduands should note the following:

Declaration of Intent to Graduate

All prospective July 2011 graduands are required to complete Declaration of Intent to graduate form available in the departments and hand it over to their respective Head of the Department by Friday, 6th May 2011.

Deadline to Clear All Outstanding Fees for Prospective Graduands

All prospective graduands are advised that it is mandatory to pay all outstanding fees, graduation fee and other financial obligations by Tuesday, 7th June 2011. Those who will not have met the deadline will not appear in the graduation list. There will not be exceptions for late comers. Download the clearance form here.

Graduation and Alumni fees will be as follows:

  • Certificate, Diploma or Undergraduate:- KSHs. 6,000
  • Masters:- KShs. 8,000

Academic Records

Graduands are required to verify with their respective departments that details pertaining to their names, courses and citations are correct. This should be done before Monday, 13th June 2011.

Academic Attire

Graduands will be required to be in full academic attire which will be issued from Monday 18th to Thursday 21st July 2011 at the respective campuses. The attire must be returned by 5th August 2011. A fine of KSHs. 100 per day will be charged for delays in returning the same.

Rehearsal

It is mandatory that all granduands attend a rehearsal at the Graduation square on Friday 22nd July at 10.00 AM.
