At the heart of Kenya Methodist University is the University Chapel. The foundation of the University was conceived by the Church in the 1950s, in response to increased population, rising unemployment of the youth and poor land use. In 1986, the vision for the establishment of a University sponsored by the Methodist Church was born.
Chaplaincy is the heartbeat of KeMU. The Chaplain coordinates devotion meetings for staff and students every Monday and Thursday from 8.00am to 9.00am in all campuses for the purpose of development of Christian Spiritual values.
To foster christian spiritual growth for integrity and selfless community service.
