KeMU Research Conference 2013

Theme:
Integrating the Community in the Process of Research and Development within the Context of the Constitution

KeMU Research Conference 2013 is the 2nd annual multidisciplinary research conference organized by the Kenya Methodist University.  It rides on the success of the 1st KeMU Research Conference 2012 held in April 2012.

The Directorate of Research and Development therefore invites Papers for presentation at the 2013 Conference and possible publication in the Conference proceedings.

There shall be a Poster Session so papers for poster presentation are also invited.  This being a multidiscipinary conference, papers are invited from all research disciplines across the University.

The overarching requirement is that there should be evidence of how each research presented has involved the community or how the research results will benefit the community.

Important Dates

  1. Abstract Submission  -  3rd May 2013
  2. Full Paper Submission  -   21st June 2013
  3. Poster Session Submission  -  21st June 2013
  4. Notification of Acceptances  -  5th July 2013
  5. Final Paper Submission  -  26th July 2013
  6. PowerPoint Slides Submission  -  26th July 2013

Notes:

  1. Abstracts should not be more than 300 words in length
  2. Posters should be designed for print on A0 paper without loss of quality especially for images
  3. Format and guidelines for powerpoint slides will be circulated in due course.
