Library Catalogue

The Library maintains cards and Computer-produced catalogues. Both catalogues are divided into the following files:

  • Author/Titles files
  • Subject file
  • Shelf List file

Author/ Title and Subject files are arranged in alphabetical order (A-Z). The shelf-List file is arranged in alphanumerical order of the Library of Congress Classification System.

In addition, the Library maintains a CARDEX: a (periodical index) showing a list of periodicals received in the Library. The Cardex is arranged in an alphabetical order by title.
