Biography

Dr. Esther Mbaabu is a seasoned mediator and an experienced practicing psychological counselor. She has been involved in teaching and training counselors at diploma and degree levels in Kenyan Universities. She has worked extensively in psychological counseling with the youth at individual and group levels. Dr. Esther has used her knowledge in psychology and leadership to empower women groups through capacity building and group therapy. She has additionally reached out to high school students to train them on careers, life purpose and academic performance. She has co-authored ten primary school life-skills text books published by Oxford University Press. She has carried out consultancy on youth life skill and trauma counseling. Her training on strategic management and leadership has propelled her to the current senior management position at Kenya Methodist University.
