Sports

KeMU sports and recreational programmes provide our students with exceptional learning experiences that are not offered in other parts of the University curriculum.

Through participation in university sports, students’ athletes improve their strength, speed, and endurance, and acquire the complex skills and poise needed to perform at their best in athletic competition.

The Sports and Games Department provides high-quality sporting and recreational services for all. It’s mandated to offer indoor and outdoor interscholastic sports and game programs with educational value to both the students and members of staff.

Sports Disciplines

Sports and games are essential for the development of student-athletes and play an important role in protecting the image of the university at the local, national and international levels.

Disciplines offered in the University are Soccer, Netball, Basketball, Volleyball, Rugby, Handball, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Karate, Taekwondo, Swimming, Chess, Scrabble and Hockey.

Welfare, Chaplaincy, and Counselling Services Available

The well-being of our students well being is taken very seriously. Across all our campuses, welfare, chaplaincy and counseling services are available, managed by highly qualified staff.

The Chaplaincy offers spiritual nourishment, managing University Chapels in the campuses. There is a full freedom of worship at campuses. As a melting pot of diversity, KeMU is an ambiance of worship and spiritual growth.

Getting the best out of KeMU depends on how much you indulge in its activities. The way to get fully involved is to live on campus-right in the centre of it. All the hostels are Wi-Fi enabled to give the students an opportunity to study and socialize online.

The climax of the Culfest is the hotly contested Mr. and Miss. KeMU beauty pageant. Different contestants showcase their prowess in modeling by displaying their beauty and creativity skills through the different wears, leaving the judges with a difficult task of deciding who was the fairest of them all.

Student Leadership

The KeMU student fraternity annually elects a leadership to articulate their interests. The University management is keen on mentoring the student governance into a model leadership and constantly engages with student leaders
