Biography

Doreen is a lecturer at the Kenya Methodist University in the School of Business and Economics. Specialized in the area of Finance and Economics. She previously served at Grand Canyon University (AZ, USA) as a Tax analyst, Standard Chartered Bank (Kenya) as a Process Analyst and earlier as a Data – Center Administrator. Also worked at OpenView Business Systems (OBS) as an Inventory Manager.

She has over 10years teaching experience at the university with expertise in Public Finance, Risk Management, Financial economics, Corporate and International Finance. In addition to teaching and research, Doreen has steered curriculum development for Diplomas and Bachelors programs with most recent Bachelors of Commerce and BSC Financial Economics. She also facilitates Real Estate short programs at the university. She has keen interest in research – Economic policy development and poverty reduction.
