Are you passionate about becoming a doctor and making a lasting impact in healthcare? The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) is designed to prepare future medical doctors with the knowledge, skills and professional ethics required to serve individuals, families and communities in Kenya and beyond.
Why Choose KeMU’s MBChB Programme?
The MBChB degree at KeMU is a comprehensive six-year programme that integrates classroom learning, laboratory practice and clinical rotations. - Clinical Exposure: From year three onwards, students participate in clerkships and rotations in surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, reproductive health, mental health, and community health.
- Research & Leadership: Students are equipped with research methods, proposal writing and leadership skills, preparing them for roles in clinical practice, health management and medical research.
- Ethics & Professionalism: Courses in medical ethics, jurisprudence and professional conduct ensure graduates uphold the highest standards of integrity.
